Slavery is something that seems unfathomable in our world today, but it is a reality for around 27 million people. At Eastside Church, we believe that God is calling us to stand against oppression and injustice of all kinds. Practicing resurrection means engaging systems of death and darkness and bringing hope and life.

We believe that a small step toward justice happens in our buying habits. Most Halloween Candy is produced by child slave labor and the cocoa bean is the #1 slavery produced product in the world.
