Rain Barrel Workship
Wednesday, September 11, 7-8pm at Eastside Church.
$10 donation requested by Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. Join the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) and Georgia Interfaith Power and Light (GIPL) and learn how to make your own rain barrel in this special discounted workshop.
Collecting rain water in rain barrels for use during dry months is an excellent way to conserve water and reduce your water bill. During the workshop, participants will participate in a conversation about why water is important in our faith and throughout the Bible, be instructed on rain barrel set-up and maintenance, water conservation, and learn about why rain harvesting is especially important in times of drought. All supplies included!
This type of rain barrel may normally cost over $70, and this class typically runs for $40 per participant. Thanks to CRK and GIPL, we can offer this class at a special $10 cost.
Please email tim@eastsideatl.org by Monday, September 9 to register for this class.
There are only 25 spots!
