Ways to Connect, Grow, & Serve Together
ALL SAINTS CHILI COOK OFF
Sunday, November 1 from 4-6PM @ Brownwood Park
Eastside is having a Chili Cook-off! Feel free to rewear your Halloween costume, dress like your favorite Saint, and join us at Brownwood Park. If you’d like to volunteer to help with the cook-off or have questions, contact Daniel Garrett. If you’d like to register your chili for the cook off, email Jess Cusick. We ask everyone not bringing chili to bring a drink/side/dessert to share!
COFFEE WITH THE PASTORS
Sunday, November 8, 4-6PM @ Eastside
If you are interested learning what it means to become a Covenant Member of Eastside, join us for Coffee with Rev. Tim and Rev. Brent! If you are interested in joining us, please email Jess Cusick. Childcare will be provided.
FACES OF EASTSIDE PROJECT
Sunday, November 8 & Sunday, November 15
For one hour prior to service and for 30 minutes directly after the benediction we will have a professional photographer taking photos of all who call Eastside Church home. It is our goal to create a photo wall in the church to visually represent the people of Eastside. You will receive a free high quality digital image for your own use as a thank you for your time. Please help us reach 100% participation! Feel free to email Jess Cusick if you have any questions!
AUTOMATED GENEROSITY
Prayerfully consider creating a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly recurring gift to Eastside. Go to www.eastsideatl.org, scroll to the bottom of the front page and sign-up or login to our website. After you login you can quickly create a repeating gift with your checking account or credit/debit card. Online giving with Eastside is very safe and very easy.
EASTSIDE MAKERS WORKSHOP
Sunday, November 15, following service
Join Eastside Maker, Abby Norman, for a Found Poetry workshop! Found Poetry is the act of reading through a page and finding words you want in your poem, then painting, cutting & pasting, and creating a masterpiece! It is fun, beautiful, and a great way to let your creativity shine! We hope you’ll join the Makers for this great workshop! For questions, email Abby Norman.
LOOKING FORWARD
Parents Time Out: Saturday, December 5, 9am-noon
Hospitality Team Training: Sunday, December 6, 11:30-12:30PM
MEAL TRAIN MINISTRY
Are you a talented chef? Do you command a kitchen like a pro? Can you throw a frozen lasagna in the oven like a champ? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above, we need you to join the Meal Train Ministry! When a member of our community has a baby, has a surgery, experiences a loss, etc. we want to provide a meal to help make life a little simpler. If you are occasionally available to bring a meal to a fellow Eastsider who may be in need, email Brit Eyster for more information!
SERVE WITH EASTSIDE
Looking for ways to get plugged in and serve with Eastside? We consistently need more volunteers each Sunday. It’s a great way to get involved & meet new people! You can find a host of ways to be involved & sign up to serve by visiting us online at www.eastsideatl.org/serve or by going to the Info Table after worship.
