Serve: Children’s Ministry
There are many opportunities for service with the Eastside Kids Collective at Eastside Church. We believe that our volunteers play an important role in nurturing the faith journeys of our children. If you would like to join us in service to the children of Eastside, contact us with questions!
NURSERY MINISTRIES
Our nurseries focus on providing quality care for the youngest members of the Eastside community. Rooms are designated for infants to walkers and walkers up to the age of 3. If you enjoy caring for infants and toddlers and want to help parents participate in the service worry-free, then nursery ministry might be perfect for you.
FAMILY CHECK-IN
Each Sunday we need friendly and energetic folks to welcome families, new and old, to the children’s ministry to get them checked in. If you’re passionate about children and providing a welcome and safe presence for kids, then this might be the right fit for you.
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Do you like to teach children about God and the Bible? Do you enjoy playing games, leading arts and crafts, and building relationships with kids? Consider leading in one of our Sunday school classrooms. We’re looking for volunteers who have a big heart for God and for children, and who are willing to lovingly teach the Bible in both word and deed.
OTHER OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
We are always happy to have help with our special events—Children’s Sunday, the East Atlanta Village Strut, Trunk or Treat, our Christmas pageant, and other calendar specific events. We also welcome volunteers for non-traditional tasks, like toy cleaning and event planning/promotion.
